Research & development
Continuous research and development drive KARSUS forward. Our engineers work directly with customers to define the damping characteristics, installation geometry and operating requirements that shape each solution.
From requirements to design
Every development project begins with the intended application. Vehicle dynamics, available installation space, environmental conditions and performance targets are translated into clearly defined engineering parameters. This application-driven approach allows each solution to be developed around the actual requirements of the vehicle rather than adapted from a generic configuration.
Prototyping and validation
Engineering concepts are translated into prototypes and evaluated through controlled testing. Measurement results, calibration data and manufacturing feedback guide each stage of refinement before the design progresses into production.
Engineering and manufacturing integration
Research, engineering and manufacturing operate as one connected process at KARSUS. Products are developed with production feasibility, repeatable quality, maintenance and long-term operation in mind. This integration allows technical concepts to become practical, production-ready solutions while preserving their original performance objectives.
Academic and industrial collaboration
KARSUS maintains close cooperation with universities and research partners, connecting academic knowledge with practical engineering and manufacturing experience. Engineering students gain direct industry experience as part of our team, while our CEO contributes to higher education through university teaching. This exchange of knowledge strengthens development within KARSUS and supports the next generation of engineers.
Development focus
From technical insight to proven performance
Our objective is to transform research, measurement and practical experience into shock absorber solutions that can be manufactured consistently and perform as intended in real operating environments.
