Yet, the shock absorbers’ comfort, durability, and sustainability requirements parallel to their lightweight design with enhanced damping characteristics remain unsolved for these challenging conditions. Considering all these issues, Kárászy’s new generation of railway shock absorbers, K148, offers a compact solution for light rail vehicles like tram and metro.

The K148 system has been developed explicitly for urban railway vehicles but is also available for other applications. Its space-saving design and wide-ranging damping force characteristics make the K148 a perfect solution for today’s urban railway vehicles.
